Balancing The Personal and Professional

While every person has a different definition of what living a balanced life means, every definition includes some variation of having enough time for family, community, and, of course, work.
Are You An "Invincable" Sales Person?
I was considering my latest movie rental possibilities when I stumbled across the inspiring sports movie "Invincible" which was released last August 25th, stars Mark Wahlberg as Vince Papale, a Philadelphia Eagles fan who has just lost his wife and his teaching job. The 30-year-old bartender enters an open try-out for the Philadelphia Eagles and makes the squad, becoming the oldest rookie to make a National Football League team.
This got me thinking about how Vince and football kickers have parallels to sales people in the service contracting industry.

SALES LETTER: Have You Fired Us?
A couple of days ago a prospective contractor member named Martin Hoover emailed me. He asked me if I had any sales letters he could send to his old clients who stopped doing business with him. He said if I had anything in my "vast archives" that I could give him that he liked, he would then join our platinum membership here at ContractorSelling.Com as his reward to me.
Well, needless to say, Martin has join us as a Platinum Member today. His staff was a bit concerned as they thought the letter was a bit too negative. I asked him to have his staff consider that if your client no longer does business with you, that your risk in "taking it away" as this letter does in minimal since you can't lose what you do not have. This letter breaks the pattern and captures attention. Remember, the bored mind says NO. It is in WORD format so you can change it to suit your style.
If you need any ads, forms, scripts or sales letters please challenge me.
Famous Gold Ball Flushing Toilet Is "De-Throned"
Many of you who have been to our "Total Immersion" summit meetings have heard me remark of and talk about the toilet that can flush 24 golf balls with the "soft closing lid." We talk about why a premium toilet is worth much more than the "normal" variety. I thought you might have fun reading these articles. - Joe C
Par 29 for the Toilet Bowl Open: This job leaves him flush with pride
By Tom Zucco
St. Petersburg Times
IN a demonstration of hydraulic prowess at the International Builders Show in January, a Kohler toilet successfully disposed of 2 pounds of cocktail wieners in one flush and five rubber ducks in another.
An impressive, even heroic, feat. But in what may be the first recorded case of commode one-upmanship, the real extreme toilet may be the $249 American Standard Champion.
