Free PDF Creator Software

Printer-Friendly Format

Quick, easy and free way to instantly create perfect pdf documents

Add this free software to your computer and you can instantly create perfect .pdf files from any program that has a print feature. Free program, free download, perfect pdfs from any source!

Free PDF creator

If you need a way to quickly create .pdf files from any source, but don't want to invest $249 in Adobe Acrobat, here is your solution in three easy steps.

  1. Download PDF995.zip - This is a free .pdf print driver, that once installed on your computer, will convert any document to .pdf format, simply by selecting the PDF995 printer from any program on your computer.

  2. Install PDF995.exe - To install, open pdf995.zip using any unzip program, and click on pdf995.exe to install. The install process automatically loads a new printer driver to your computer.

  3. Create PDF file - To instantly create a pdf document from any file, open the file using whatever program can read the file (your word processor, web browser, etc), and then select 'Print'. Then choose PDF995 as the printer. When you do, you will be asked to provide a file name to use to save the .pdf formatted document. Name the file, click 'OK', and the .pdf file is instantly created and saved on your computer.

I've tested PDF995 to create .pdf documents from web pages, Ventura Publisher, and MS Word and it worked perfectly every time.

So, what's the catch?

OK, a free program to instantly create .pdf files. So what's the catch?

That's the good news. The only 'catch' is if you have your web browser open when you print to the PDF995 print driver, you will see some sponsor ads. These ads do not show up in the .pdf file, and there are no markings on the .pdf file of any kind.

To avoid seeing the ads, close your web browser before you create a .pdf file. (Or pay $9.95 for a license, and the free ads disappear).

Add even more power

If you want to do more with your .pdf files, like adding a watermark (ie CONFIDENTIAL) to the page, or combine multiple .pdfs into one, or compress the .pdf file size for web viewing, you can do this as well.

Just Download PDFEDIT, unzip and install. Then run it after you create a .pdf file. (See details at http://www.pdfedit995.com/).
